Description of the works

The pieces I make are generally commissioned, except for the pieces that are for exhibitions.
I use construction materials, different thicknesses of sand and natural materials, sisal, beach sand, pieces of fabric, twine, newspapers, modeling pastes, pigments and acrylic paint among other materials.
I like to add small nuances of the places I have traveled to, such as sand from the beaches, small stones, fabrics and everything that might attract me at that moment for some reason.
In the works made under command, we look for integration with the space, the relationship of colors and size that best suits the environment.
To create the pieces I use either 100% cotton canvas or Okume wood, on a handmade pine frame. Okume is a tropical wood very resistant to changes in temperature and humidity, avoiding torsion of large pieces, it is very suitable due to its adaptability to different thicknesses and materials.
